Cleaning house

Today I cleaned my house.  It is amazing how much it can affect you mentally having a clean place to live vs. a cluttered and messy one.  Anywho…

I know i haven’t written anything for a long time.  Its not that i haven’t had things that i thought about sharing, but that I feel like all i have been doing lately is coming home from work (usually late) , feeling completely uninspired to do anything, and just make dinner / watch some tv and go to bed.  That sounds pathetic but thats life sometimes.

I have been in a Sunday school class at Church that is covering Anabaptist / Mennonite history, and it has been very interesting.  I took the class because i realized i didn’t know as much as i should (i had to take a whole class of this in high school, but didn’t care then) and was interested in re-learning what my Mennonite heritage is.  There have been a lot of great discussions and I intend to write something reflective sometime once i have had time to get my head straight.  All i can say right now is that pacifism is a tricky thing, and there is a lot of difference among Mennonites as to what it actually means in practice…

Should I enable comments on my day pics gallery?  I think maybe i will.

I think your SS class sounds fascinating!!! I miss learning stuff! I hear you on the sort of “mundane” existence…that’s how I am right now. I keep thinking it will change once I get into my own place. Not that a little peace is bad…I don’t know. Anywho that’s all I have to say.

yes, enable those comments, or maybe not if it will add clutter to your pics. i’m curious to hear more about putting pacifism into practice and more reflections once your head is straight :-p

I did enable the comments a few days ago. Adding comments isn’t overly obvious (there is a small dialog balloon looking icon that is at the top of each image, click it to add comments). I just tested the way it works and it looks fine.
