Has it really been two months since i last posted? This is crazy. I don’t know how to sum it all up so i won’t even go there, just one quick mention that I am 25 years old now! Maybe being 1/4 of a Centenarian will give me the maturity and stick-withit-tude to do better? We shall wait and see.

Things are keeping me busy at work. We have gotten to the point where we have sold enough of our custom software that I spend a fair amount of my time developing new features and fixing quirky bugs in some of the 3rd party toolkits we use. Or perhaps I should say coming up with workarounds to handle the bugs in the 3rd party toolkits, since you can’t really touch what you don’t have rights to. So between doing all of that, and trying to keep up with various other normal work things, I am feeling ready for the Holidays ahead. We always get two days off for both Christmas and New Years, so I am looking forward to two nice long weekends in a row. w00t!

Speaking of which, I came accross a posting on slashdot the other day, stating that w00t has become the word of the year for 2007. How stupid is that? You should look at the words that they were chosing from, it doesn’t make sense to me. Like it was mentioned in the comments on slashdot, w00t hasn’t been big for many years, I guess geeks are like 8 years ahead of the rest of the world when it comes to geek speak. Similar to Europe being ahead of America in fashion / culture … or something like that.
