Star War – The third gathers – The backstroke of the west

Ok, this post is going to be simply links to other posts, but i greatly suggest you check them out, if you have any idea what Star Wars is.

I was doing some reading on Slashdot while waiting for some software to install, and caught this headline, which of course i had to read: Lucas To Make New Live Action Star Wars Film.

This led me to the following sites, and you must read these! Apparantly some people have posted some screen caps of bootlegged dvds from Star Wars III, with the funniest subtitles. China is always good for a laugh when it comes to translating things :-)

pictures and pooh

Thanks to everyone for the comments about the DayPics. I must say that i was quite happy with how the petals on that grate picture turned out myself. When I took the picture i was wandering around outside in the parking lot after work talking on my cell using my new bluetooth headset while waiting for some stuff to finish at work so that i could leave, and taking pictures. So this was a quick shot, but once i got it downloaded to my laptop i was pleasantly surprised.

Oh, and I mean ‘pooh’ as in Winnie-the, not the thing that goes with tp. Saturday I went yard-saleing for a bit with Laura, and purchased some old winnie-the-pooh books. I spent some relaxing time later that evening reading one or two of the stories, relaxing with a book (not about programming) is something i haven’t done in a long time. It was good. I really enjoy winnie-the-pooh. I will leave you with an excerpt from a very short chapter i read tonight, titled ‘In Which, Pooh and Piglet go hunting and nearly catch a Woozle’.

“Now, look there.” He pointed to the ground in front of him. “What do you see there?”

“Tracks,” said Piglet. “Paw-marks.” He gave a little sqeak of excitement. “Oh, Pooh! Do you think it’s a-a-a Woozle?”

“It may be,” said Pooh. “Sometimes it is, and sometimes it isn’t. You never can tell with paw-marks.”
