illegal

The tv is telling me that supposedly some guy is trying to push legislation to make non-handsfree cellphone use during driving illegal. i actually think this is a brilliant idea. its hilliariously sad how they were interviewing people who say things like “some times i even text message when driving, which is probably worse….” HAH.

The real interesting thing going on right now is that i have AC in my house! i wussed out sunday night after a humid sleep the night before, and ran to walmart to get a cheap AC unit. and then today at work i got a call from my landlord asking if i wanted him to put in a unit, so now i have two! makes me wonder if i would have gotten two free ones if i didn’t buy my own. doubt it. but haveing a cool house is pretty cool. i actually wear clothes in the evening now! HAH.

ok, now to finish up some stuff and get another good nights sleep. today i was at work at 8 am sharp! i know crazy. and then i was on phone calls till 6pm so it was a decent work day. buh bye!

glad to hear you are garbed most of the time now =) i\’ve been super thankful for some cool weather so far this summer in Chicago. it means i\’m surviving with my fans. last summer my constant mental debate went something like this:

–i can survive 9 weeks of this without getting an AC unit

–i can\’t believe how hot it is; maybe i should go ahead and get AC

–there are only 5 more weeks left; i don\’t need to get AC

–it is soooo hot; i can\’t deal with this. i should go ahead and get AC

–only 4 more weeks; it isn\’t worth getting AC

–it is sooo stinking hot; maybe i should still get AC

    and so on. until

–this is my last week, i guess i didn\’t need to get AC.

–it is still sooo hot; i should have gotten AC. definitely getting a window unit next summer…

i did survive. although i mostly spend my evenings eating rainbow sherbet!
