Who wants to go to California with me?
Yes, i have decided i am gonna leave work and go to California. I have had it with working, and the slightly warm weather we have been teased with here in PA has made me feel up the the challenge. I am even so serious as to be looking for tickets online. its not a bad price, who wants to go for a week, say jan 30 to feb 4th?
HA i am actually serious. what I thought was a decent possibility got finalized today, and i am officially flying out to Irvine California for a week of training for work. sweet huh? the cool thing is that it is california. in january. the not as cool as it could be things are that i am going alone, don’t know if i’ll know anyone in the area (i’ll still have to try to do some things) and it is a week long course from which i am expected to learn something. 
the cost of this week long class sure puts messiah in perspective… 4 grand for a short course isn’t cheap, so i am glad i am not footing the bill. but then again this ain’t no ‘go have fun’ trip. I am kinda expected to be able to do great things as a result of this. don’t get me wrong, i definately have every intention to keep on rocking, but the pressure is there.
This is my good news. if anyone can beat it i would sure like to know. and if anyone is going to be around Santa Ana California during that time i want to know that too! doubtful though.
The other cool thing is Lost begins airing again tonight. or did rather, at 8:00 pm. I will do my usual and watch it tomorrow with the commercials miraculously gone. ouch, i butchered that word, almost felt like i was megan there for a while. unless i did spell it right, then my brain is just farting i guess. irrrrrr-regardless, i resolve to go to bed before 12:00 tonight. meaning i have no intention whatsoever to do so, but i really should because i left for work really late today, but i keep staying late to make up for it so its ok, but then i stay up late unwinding my brain and leave late again…. talk about a vicious cycle!

CA that’s wicked cool DAH! I’m insainly jealous! Mel’s going to El Salvador next week, you’re going to CA and gosh I’ll be plugging away at the same old desk. Oh well I’m sure you’ll find time to have some fun even with the week long seminar thing.
