Thanksgiving Day
4 day weekends are just plain sweet. i mean, i have had two days off, and instead of tomrrow being the beginning of a new week, it is saturday tomrrow which means two more relaxed days! awesome baby.
news news news. it snowed weds. i also got a ticket weds, boo, and i also got a thanksgiving ham from work, yay, (passed up on the turkey). Then on thursday after spending a nice day with the extended fam eating turkey and gravy and all that goodness, and playing fireball island with crazy rules made up by my cousins like 10 years ago which even they were having a hard time rememvbering, I finally got to see the new harry potter movie. it was pretty good, not overly awesome, but i must say i did very much enjoy it. break hasn’t been about a whole lot more than that. basically it has been seeing people, eating some, but not too much, some hiking, some sleeping, but not too much of that either, although 8hrs a night sure is nice for a change. My grandfather always likes to have everyone say something they are thankful when we are eating thanksgiving meal together. and this year i had to think, you know, i am really thankful for where i am at right now, good job, good friends that i am still in touch with, a family i am living with and surviving, etc etc etc. so yes this is a good holiday.
